About the Kensington Riverside Inn

The Kensington Riverside Inn is a 19-room boutique hotel in Calgary’s charming Kensington neighborhood.

The inn was originally designed by award-winning architect Richard Lindseth and opened in 1999 as a country-style bed and breakfast. Hotel Arts Group acquired the property in 2007 and transformed it into a European-style boutique hotel featuring 10-foot ceilings, stylish furnishings, individualized rooms (no two are alike), a unique art collection and a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere. Recognized as an exclusive Relais & Châteaux property, we deliver the finest in upscale luxury, fine dining and personalized service.

Relais & Châteaux is an association of the world’s finest hoteliers, chefs and restaurateurs. When it formed in 1954, the group consisted of only eight establishments along the road between Paris and the French Riviera. With more than 520 members today, Relais & Châteaux has set the standard for excellence in hospitality by emphasizing holistic experiences that connect guests to the art of living.
