Kensington Riverside Inn is a quiet boutique property nestled amidst some of Calgary’s best dining, shopping and entertainment options. Designed by award-winning architect, Richard Lindseth (F.R.A.I.C.), the Kensington Riverside Inn exudes an upscale residential charm with an ambience that is light, airy, gracious and inviting. Kensington Riverside Inn features 19 stylish rooms and suites that have been individually decorated to make guests feel at home. Featuring triple-sheeted upscale Frette linens, 42” plasma televisions, personal wine cabinets, high-speed Internet, voicemail, contemporary furnishings, heated towel bars, spacious washrooms, independent climate control and windows that open. Each room is unique – in size, view, amenities and décor. Views are varied. With high ceilings and French doors, transoms and windows for ventilation, our rooms are fresh and bright. Standard Queen
Several of the Standard Queen Rooms open onto the west side garden with a small patio. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Several of the rooms feature fireplaces. The three-piece bathroom with marble vanity, six-foot soaker tub, heated towel bar and make-up mirror is completed with the luxurious touch of Egyptian cotton towels. A cozy chair and ottoman invite you to sit back and relax.
Executive Rooms
Executive Rooms are slightly larger than the standard rooms and feature more space to relax for longer stays. Several of the Executive Rooms also feature patios. These rooms will lift your spirits with their warm seahawk grey walls with creamy white trim. Two comfortable wing-back chairs and an ottoman are next to the fireplace and are upholstered in a striped tone-on-tone claret fabric. A perfect spot to curl up in that oversized, polar fleece bathrobe for a good read with a cup of tea or coffee.
Junior Suite with Jacuzzi and Fireplace
Kensington Riverside Inn features three junior suites each with a Jacuzzi, fireplace and balcony. These are the Inn’s largest rooms and they have it all! A view of the river and downtown Calgary, private balcony, gas fireplace, a four-piece bathroom with separate shower stall and double-jetted Jacuzzi tub. The elegant décor is soft and relaxing in tone. The walls, spruce green in colour, are accented by crown mouldings and door and window casings painted in a creamy white.
